Just a few reminders that you need to know for the year;
Please do not hesitate to come and ask any questions or with any issues; the Year 4 team are always happy to help!
We had a lovely time looking around St Peter's Church as part of our RE topic of 'Are all churches the same?' We looked at all the different features of our church and created our own checklist for when we visit a different church!
Year 4 had a fantastic afternoon playing chess with a special visitor! A big thank you to Maria Eagle, a local MP and Chess Champion, for coming to watch us play chess and even challenge a couple of us!
We had an absolutely fantastic time being a Roman for the day! Our incredible workshop included making our own medals, building a Roman road and bridge and even building two catapults and a battering ram! Our favourite part was definitely firing the catapults at the end of the day!
A brilliant workshop on Judaism today learning all about the Jewish festival of light, Hanukkah, and the Sabbath!
Year 4 have really enjoyed their Tennis lessons this half term. We have been practising and working on our footwork, balance, different tennis shots and our serve. Take a look at us in action!
We had a fantastic Ethos afternoon today on our Christian Value of Generosity. The children completed lots of different activities and crafts around our value. Take a look at some of our pictures of the 'Generous Givers' activity where children looked at different people and charities that have been especially Generous!
Well done to everyone for their fantastic costumes to celebrate History Day! We had some amazing costumes! The children were able to tell the rest of the class all about their character after doing some research at home.
