Welcome to the Year 6 class page

This year, we will have a lot of fun, engaging and interesting experiences planned for you. We have a lot of new things to learn and we will have to work really hard throughout the year. 

Reading is a very important aspect of learning not just in Year 2, but right throughout your children's school journey. We actively encourage you to read every night with your child. All children need to bring their reading book and reading record into school every day. 

This half term we have some exciting topics to cover in our foundation lessons such as our new topic The Maya in history, Drawing in art and Hinduism in RE. 

Year 3 have tennis every Monday, this half-term and swimming on Wednesday. Please remember that children must come to school in their PE kits on Monday.
