    Hello and welcome to the Year 4 class page!

    On this page, you will see all the exciting things Year 4 are learning and experiencing this half term.

    Mrs Webster will be teaching Maths and Mrs Fitchett-Sabbagh will be teaching English.

    This half term we will be learning about animals including humans in science, developing our simple circuit knowledge to make night lights in D.T., studying tourism in geography and learning about three empires in history.

    We will continue to study one main book for our English lessons but we will also be reading a wide variety of other texts - both fiction and non-fiction - from across our curriculum to help strengthen our understanding in a range of topics.

    On a Tuesday we will have our brass music lessons so please make sure you bring your instrument into school ready for our lesson every Tuesday.

    Physical Education (P.E.) this half term will be rounders (Tuesday) and swimming (Wednesday). please come into school wearing your Bishop Martin PE kit and bring a labelled water bottle. Children need a swimming cap for their swimming lessons.
