    Hello and welcome to the Year 4 class page!

    On this page, you will see all the exciting things Year 4 are learning and experiencing this half term.

    Mrs Webster will be teaching Maths and Miss Yorke will be teaching English.

    This half term we will be developing our designing and making skills Design Technology., studying population in geography and learning about the Roman Empire in history.

    We will continue to study one main book for our English lessons but we will also be reading a wide variety of other texts - both fiction and non-fiction - from across our curriculum to help strengthen our understanding in a range of topics.

    On a Tuesday we will have our brass music lessons so please make sure you bring your instrument into school ready for our lesson every Tuesday.

    Physical Education (P.E.) this half term will be swimming (Wednesday). Please come into school wearing your Bishop Martin PE kit and bring a labelled water bottle. Children must bring in a swimming cap and goggles.

    You will be able to find all of the knowledge organisers on this page, along with lots of other updates throughout the year.
