St Peter's Church

We are very proud of our close relationship with our local Parish Church, St Peter's Church, Woolton.  We have achieved the Church School Partnership Award level 1 and we are currently working towards achieving level 2.

Each Thursday we hold a collective worship in Church, this is led by members of the local clergy. The clergy also lead special services with our children at least once every half term, for example for Harvest, Christmas and Ascension, Pentecost and a Leavers' Service. For Easter, the clergy lead on Holy Week.

As our school is a Voluntary Aided Church of England School, the Diocese appoints members of the Church Community to be governors of our school. These governors are called Foundation Governors and in addition to the normal responsibilities of a governor they ensure that the Church of England character of the school is preserved and developed.
